Yellow leaves (chlorosis) can be caused by overwatering, nutrient deficiency, or poor lighting.
Fix: Check soil moisture. If soggy, let it dry and ensure drainage. If dry, water deeply. Apply a balanced fertilizer if nutrient deficiency is suspected.
Brown Leaf Tips and Edges
Usually a sign of low humidity, underwatering, or salt buildup from tap water or fertilizer.
Fix: Use a humidifier, water with distilled/rainwater, and flush the soil periodically to remove salts.
Plant is Drooping or Wilting
Wilting can mean the plant is either extremely thirsty or drowning in water (root rot).
Fix: Feel the soil. If bone dry, soak it. If wet and mushy, inspect roots for rot and repot in fresh, well-draining soil.
Plant Not Growing
Stunted growth is common in winter, but during spring/summer it indicates a lack of light, nutrients, or being root-bound.
Fix: Move to a brighter location, apply fertilizer, and check if roots are circling the pot (time to upsize!).
